Work is underway to clear the site of trees and foliage, remove old septic systems, and lay ground rock in preparation for ground-breaking later this summer. The City of Canby selected Triplett Wellman as the general contractor for the project. Triplett Wellman is working with the project team to bring in cost estimates for the current design scope.

April 17, 2015
After 5 public input meetings, a recommended design concept has emerged for the new Canby Public Library & City Hall. The first floor will feature a new library almost twice the size of our current facility, along with a council chamber/multipurpose community room. The second floor will hold city offices.
The adjacent plaza will provide outdoor seating & event space for library patrons and the community. Design development will continue over the next few months and we will post updates to the library website as they become available. The project is on schedule to start construction in Summer 2015, with an opening date in Summer 2016
